Visit Ovan Lake in Qazvin Province

Ovan Lake is one of the pristine natural lakes of Iran’s Qazvin Province, which shines like a beautiful jewel in the region with pleasant climate of Alamut.

This lake is one of the wetlands under the protection of the Environment Organization and has been registered on the list of national and natural heritage of Iran.

With an area of over 70,000 square meters, the depth of the lake reaches about 6 meters in the deepest part.

Best time to visit the site is in summers because the lake has sever winters, locating at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level.
